A Place at the Table

A Place at the Table is a paywhat-you-can cafe where everyone has dignity and choice. The cafe’s mission is to provide community and healthy food for all regardless of means. When dining with A Place at the Table you can pay the suggested price, pay more for your meal (paying-it-forward for others who cannot afford to pay), or volunteer for your meal. The restaurant is located at 300 W. Hargett Street in downtown Raleigh and is open 8am-2pm Tuesday-Sunday. In addition to the Cafe on Hargett street, APATT has recently added a food truck called the “Travelin Table.” The idea is to extend it’s mission to more individuals throughout the community.
